Subversion is more than just a software product. It has a large community which splits itself into developers and users, both of which are vital for Subversion's continued growth and success.
This talk sheds light on how the community operates, and presents avenues for interaction between the user and developer communities, with particular focus on enterprise users.
It describes how developers decide what they should work on, and what users can do to support and influence Subversion's development.

Stefan Sperling has studied computer science at Free University of Berlin, Germany, and University College Cork, Ireland. He has been working with elego for many years. Since the beginning of 2007 he has been contributing to the Subversion project and became a full committer for the project in early 2008.
